Irene C. Hensley, 94, Brownsburg, passed away Jan. 2, 2018. She had been a group leader for RCA Bloomington and worked in the Brownsburg Schools cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband Newton Hensley, stepsons Bruce and Tom Hensley, parents John and Lillie Cox, and 11 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include children Mike Hensley, Janice Adams, Judy Plummer, Darleen Prow, Becky Yung and Susie Moloy; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Jan. 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2pm Fri. Jan. 5. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
