Irene Marcile Van  Landingham Van Arsdale Shields

91, Avon, passed away on September 28, 2023.  She worked for Howard W. Sams for 30 years then later working for Who's Who in America.  When these businesses were sold out, she went to work for Hook's Drugstore until they were bought out by CVS.  She worked for CVS for 7 years retiring in 2005.  Irene was preceded in death by her first husband Roy Van Arsdale; second husband Robert Shields; father Fred Van Landingham; mother Lucille Winters; and daughter Peggy Luther.  Survivors include her daughter Victoria Price; son Fred (Kathy) Van Arsdale; brother Roy Van Landingham; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Mon. Oct. 2 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
