Isa Renee Martinez
Our beautiful CHD Warrior Isa Renee Martinez passed away surrounded by her family on January 15, 2019 at 3:24 a.m. Isa was born on July 29, 2011 in Danville, IN to Ruben and Brooke Martinez. Isa was a sassy, spunky little girl who loved life, pizza, playing with her sisters, being outside, watching University of Michigan football with her daddy and baking with her mama. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her beloved pug Pete and hoped to one day be a police officer. Though her time here on Earth was short, her infectious spirit and beautiful soul touched everyone she met. We were beyond blessed and honored to be chosen as her family. Isa was proceeded in death by her grandfather Stephen Boyd, great grandparents Buck and Ellen Hanna, Joseph and Iva Boyd, Ponciano and Felicitas Gonzalez, Tito and Josefina Martinez, cousin Juana Cruz Perez and the best poochie ever Pete the pug. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Ruben and Brooke Martinez, sisters Selena, Olivia and Ava, grandparents Paul and Diane Lynch and Tito and Elida Martinez, God parents Moises and Elida Munoz, many aunts, uncles and cousins, her best friend Isla Renee Martin and many other friends, classmates, neighbors and care givers. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Dr. Mark Turrentine, Dr. Robert Darragh, Dr. Mark Hoyer and Dr. Gregory Montgomery along with the many nurses and staff at Riley Hospital for Children, our family physician Dr. Linda DeCesare and Nurse Kim Roach all of whom have diligently and lovingly cared for Isa. We would also like to thank Isa's White Lick Elementary family and all of the many therapists and specialists who have touched her life. "And though she be but little, she is fierce", Shakespeare. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4pm Sunday January 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 11am Monday January 21. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Riley's Children's Foundation, attention Heart Center in Isa's name.
