Israel Velez

79, Brownsburg, passed away on October 5, 2022.  He was a member of Iglesia Rios De Agua Viva Church in Indianapolis and worked for JC Penny's for over 10 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife Eluz Velez; daughter Lilia Barias; sister Awilda Breban.  Survivors include his daughter Maira Sanchez; brothers Miguel Velez, Carmen Velez; sister Olga Velez; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 12pm to 1pm Sat. Oct. 8 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
