Obituary

Jack Edward Halsey
72, Brownsburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior October 1, 2019. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, his master's degree from the Kelly School of Business and was a chief project engineer for Rolls Royce. He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a long time, active member of Parkside Bible Church. He faithfully taught God's Word for 54 years and was a deacon for 35 years. Aside from his family, he loved books, woodworking and the Purdue Boilermakers. He was preceded in death by infant sons John Edward and Matthew Halsey. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he was survived by his wife Diana Kay Jones; daughters Leah Rachelle (Jared) Alsdorf and Joanna Ruth (Scott) Bradley; sister Nancy (Jack) Rardin; grandchildren Jackson, Hannah, Kate, Seth, Meg, Rachel and Claire. Visitation will be from 3-7pm Sunday Oct. 6 at Parkside Bible Church, 7950 N. CR 650E, Brownsburg, with funeral services at the church at 10am Monday Oct. 7. Burial will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Parkside Bible Church or Bethesda Christian Schools.
