Jacobus Marthinus Andreas "Kobus" Geldenhuis passed away at his home Aug. 5. He was a devoted husband, father, co-worker, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had great enthusiasm for life and utterly enjoyed his career as a Metallurgical Engineer with his Nucor Steel teammates. Apart from his work he adored his family, enjoyed his friends, and had a passion for playing golf and tennis. Kobus was born April 28, 1961, in Alberton, Transvaal, South Africa, and moved to Brownsburg in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Charloom, son, Petrus Johannes (P.J.), and daughters, Ezelle and Yolandi, as well as brothers Johan and Coenraad Geldenhuis, and sister Reina Zastron.  Services will be 10am Tues. Aug. 9 at Crossroads Church, 7209 E. CR 100S, Avon, IN 46123.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery, Crawfordsville, IN.  Arrangements entrusted to Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
