James V. Andrews Jr., age 73, Brownsburg, passed away Dec. 7, 2016. He had been a teacher and athletic director for the Brownsburg Community Schools, retiring in 2001. He was a US Air Force veteran and member of the Brownsburg American Legion, VFW, and the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include his wife Marcella "Marcie" Andrews; daughters Jamie (Casey) Carl and Julie (Jeff) Nelson; sister Marilyn Hoffman; grandchildren Beckham Carl, Cashill Carl, Cameron (Nicole) Nelson and Conner Nelson; great grandchild Skylar Nelson. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Fri. Dec. 9 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10am Sat. Dec. 10. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
