James R. Ayers
Age 69, Brownsburg, passed away Sept. 10, 2013. He was the son of Meredith and Rita Ayers. Jim was a graduate of Brownsburg High School, Purdue University, and Ball State University. He worked in the banking industry for over thirty years, most recently as President of Pendleton Banking. After retirement, Jim was very active in the Brownsburg farming community. Jim is survived by his wife Janet Ayers; son Andrew Ayers; a daughter Emily Ayers preceded him in death. He is also survived by brother Gene Ayers. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Sept. 12 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. In accordance with Jim's wishes, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Malachy Catholic Church.
