James V. Blankenship 67, Brownsburg passed away April 24, 2011. He had been a pipe fitter for Citizens Gas 38 years, retiring as a crew leader in 2006. He was a US Marine veteran of Vietnam and a member of the NRA and North American Hunting & Fishing Club. He is survived by his mother Ruby Blankenship Longworth; sister Marsha (Harold) Ewick; brother Don Blankenship; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1pm Sat. April 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 11am to 1pm. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
