James E. Calhoun
age 84, Brownsburg, passed away Dec. 17, 2011. He had been chief of maintenance at VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, for 14 years, retiring in 1984. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church, Brownsburg American Legion and Brownsburg Masonic Lodge. His wife Marlene Calhoun preceded him in death. Survivors include children Shari Calhoun, Michael Calhoun, James E. (Patti) Calhoun Jr.; grandchildren Brett Michael (Bonnie) Stouder, Amy (Eric) Wolfe, and Jamey (Tara) Calhoun; 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thurs. Dec. 22 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 11am Fri. Dec. 23. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
