James (Jim) Carty, 76, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2017. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Jim had been married to his high school sweetheart, Linda (Howard) Carty for 55 years. He had 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services will be on September 9, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church, 10450 E. County Road 450 N., Indianapolis, 46234 where Jim was a member for many years. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a short service to follow at 12:00.
