James R. Gosser, age 89, Brownsburg, passed away Oct. 1, 2014. He had worked at Allison's for 35 years, retiring in 1983 and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Murat Temple Shrine and Scottish Rite. Survivors include his wife Deloris Gosser; children Joyce (Don) McGlothlin, Jerry (Patti) Gosser, and Donna Joan (Dwayne) Downing; sisters Colene Wade, Janet Hornsby, Betty Autterson, Anna Hadley, and Kay LaFavors; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Sat. Oct. 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 1pm. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
