James “Jim” E. Crowell III

74, of Brownsburg, passed away on July 2nd, 2026. Jim was born in Coco Solo, Panama to his parents James E. II and Clara (Silvestis) Crowell on May 17th, 1952. He went on to earn his Master’s degree in education before working as a respected teacher and principal in California. He was also a longtime member of Hawthorne, California’s Catholic Church, as well as the Knights of Columbus. Jim later became a student aid at Brownsburg High School prior to his retirement.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife Martine D. Crowell; son James E. Crowell IV; brother Timothy E. Crowelll; granddaughter Maciee Crowell.

Family and friends will celebrate Jim’s life privately at a later date.
