James G. "Jim" Percival, 64, of Brownsburg, IN, formerly of Effingham, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
Jim was born on September 13, 1956, in Effingham, IL, the son of Frank and Rosemary (Smith) Percival.
Jim had retired from Delta Airlines in 2020, after 33 years of service. He formerly worked for Hinkle-Percival Masonry in Effingham. His father Frank Percival and a brother Steve Percival preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Green Percival; daughters, Stefanie Percival-Wieckert (husband Adam) and Jamie Hildebrand (husband Luke); and mother, Rosemary Percival.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham, IL 62401 with Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating and burial in the Watson Cemetery, Watson, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Please wear a mask for all services and follow social distancing guidelines.
