James E. McKinley

89, Lizton, passed away on March 6, 2023.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.  James worked as a tool maker for Allisons for 41 years retiring in 1993.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Phyllis McKinley; second wife Ernestine McKinley; parents Delmo and Lucile McKinley.  Survivors include his sons Randy (Elizabeth) McKinley, Brian (Candace)  McKinley, Robert (Janet) McKinley; step daughters Susan (Dave) Groover, Lori (Kevin) Marsh; sisters Patricia Byrd, Lela Highley, Francis Atkins; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thurs. March 9 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery, Indianapolis.
