James "Jim" Patrick Starks

71, Brownsburg, passed away on July 29, 2024.  He was the husband of Judith Starks.  They shared a blessed marriage of 48 years.  Jim was born in Indianapolis, IN and lived most of his life in Brownsburg, IN.  He graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1971.  Jim retired from Durham School Bus Services where he enjoyed his position as a bus driver for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry V. and Maxine Starks.  He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Starks; daughter, Kacie Starks and her fiancé, William Buncum; Will's children, Elijah and Ethaniel; siblings, Michael and Kathy Starks; brothers-in-law, Richard and Robert Culbertson; sister in law, Joy Culbertson; nephews, David Dyer and Joseph Starks.  Private interment will be Saturday August 17th in Crawfordsville, IN with a celebration of life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a children's charity of your choice.  The family would like to thank IU West Hospital and Brownsburg Meadows for their care and compassion.
