James Lucas Robinson 84, Brownsburg went home to God on Oct. 20, 2015. He was a member of Church of God; He was a Retired Railroad Brakeman and a US Army Korean veteran. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dora, his parents Herbert Robinson and Florence Lucas Robinson Summers and Zollie Summers, W. Frankfort, IL; his sisters Cheryl Summers Hodgson, Longstanton, England, and Vicki Summers Hall, W. Frankfort, IL; brother & sisters-in-laws Rose Curcuru, St Louis, MO, Kathryn Justice, Collinsville, IL, Dominica (Mimi) Fiorino, DuQuion, IL, Rosalie Furfaro, Collinsville, IL.; son-in-law William Randant, Collinsville, IL. Survivors include children Theresa (Mark) Phillips (St. Louis, MO), Patty (Perry) Pinkley (Houston, TX), Diane (Kevin) Cox (Brownsburg), Susan (nee Meyers) Randant (Collinsville, IL), and Wally (Penny) Meyers (St Louis, MO); brother-in- law Colin Hodgson, Longstanton, England, Dominic Curcuru, Washington, MO, sister- in-law Mary Russo, Ferguson, MO; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation 10 am to Noon on Sat. Oct. 24 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at Noon. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hope Hospice and Jefferson Barracks St Louis Veterans Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care provided to everyone. He had a beautiful smile and great outlook on life "fair to middlin". He was loved by everyone that met him!
