James M. Stum, age 73, Brownsburg, passed away Jan. 26, 2015. He retired from the United States Army as a technician. He was a member of the Apostolic Bible Church, Brownsburg, American Legion Wayne Twp. Post, and VFW in Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcus Stum and brother, Stephen Stum. He is survived by his wife Bettie Stum; children Cathy Kennedy, James (Julie) Stum Jr., Mark Stum, Nellie Jordan; mother Catherine Stum; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm Thurs. Jan. 29 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery, Indianapolis.
