James Thomas Drew Jr. (Tom), 68, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away on July 18, 2023. Tom was born on December 30, 1954, to James Drew and Rosanne (Lukens) Drew in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After graduating from Pittsboro High School, Tom went on to join the US Air Force from which he was honorably discharged in October of 1977. After leaving the Air Force, Tom held various positions including being the Statewide Manager for Midwest Marking which later became Reliant Services. In his later years, Tom was employed by and retired from Walmart Corporation.

Tom was an avid sports fan throughout his life. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching and donated much of his time to help coach his niece's and nephew's baseball and basketball teams. Tom also volunteered his time to coach women's college teams while he was taking classes at IUPUI. Tom was an avid golfer and was always trying to improve his game. He was a loyal fan who loved watching IU Basketball, the Colts, the Cubs, and the Indiana Pacers.

Tom was preceded in death by his father James Drew and his mother Rosanne (Lukens) Drew. He is survived by his four siblings: Catherine Barrick, Karen Combs, Michael (Julie) Drew, Amy (Stefanie) Drew, and a large extended family.

A private graveside service will be held at Lizton K of P Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg will be providing burial services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Veterans Foundation.
