James L. Toombs
Age 81, Pittsboro, passed away Nov. 29, 2014. He had worked in security for Allison's, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lou Ellen Toombs; children Vicky Lynn O'Donnell, James D. (Cathy) Toombs, and Gary D. Toombs; sister Kay Swindell; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wed. Dec. 3 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 11am Thurs. Dec. 4. Burial will be in New Winchester Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
