James L. Wilson, 86, Avon, passed away May 3, 2017. He had worked at GM Truck and Bus, retiring in 1987, after 38 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Avon. A son James P. Wilson preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Pauline Wilson; sons Terry (Kay) Wilson, Tony (Lori) Wilson, Kevin (Robin) Wilson, Kurtis (Michelle) Wilson and R. Darian (Melissa) Wilson; brother Donald Wilson; sisters Phyllis Strunk and Sue Winders; grandchildren Maliesa, Marcus, Mechelle, Jason, Laina, Stacia, Jesse, Brent, Brittany, Brandi, Paul, Weslee, Dane, Cameron, Brandon, and Shannon; 19 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Mon. May 8 at the Faith Baptist Church, Avon, with funeral services there at 10am Tues. May 9. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Brownsburg. Contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund.
