Janet (Jan) Ann McCormick Rice

76, Brownsburg, passed away on May 7, 2023. Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, she graduated from Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, attended Indiana State University and received her BA degree from Indiana Wesleyan. She was a member of the Fleming Garden Christian Church. She retired in 2001 after working 21 years at Rolls-Royce (formerly Allison's) in administration and program planning. She had previously worked two years for the Indiana State Employment Security Division in the Commercial & Professional Office, as well as eight years at the Rath Packing Company (formerly Stark & Wetzel Meats) as an administrative assistant. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery with grave site services for family only. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital at http://give.rileykids.org , Brownsburg Public Library or the Indiana State Library, Genealogical Division, Indianapolis, Indiana. Deceased was the wife of Brian E. Rice, daughter of John F. and Marjorie Barker McCormick, granddaughter of Calvin A. and Minnie V. Eller Barker and Eugene and Cora Siscoe McCormick. Survivors: Husband, Brian Edward Rice; sister, Mary Beth McCormick; stepson, Brent Allen Rice; step great grandsons, Brian Allen Rice Jr. and Bradley Asher Rice-all cherished and loved by deceased.
