Janet K. Bailey
71, Kokomo, passed away on January 11, 2022. She was born March 9, 1950 in Gardner, KS to Jay and Vida Fawcett. She grew up in Norton, KS and graduated from Norton High School in 1968. She moved to Indiana in 1973, where she raised her family and built lifelong friendships.
Janet worked for 30 years in the banking industry until becoming a small gift shop business owner in 1997. This provided her the opportunity to expand the business into her true passion for quilting. Her amazing talent and unique work was turned into treasured memories for her family and clients.
She enjoyed spending her time traveling, creating works of art, learning new hobbies and being with her family and friends. She was a member of the Kokomo Piecemakers Quilt Guild and Miami County Home Economics club.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jay Fawcett and Vida Fawcett Perrill. Survivors include her children Angie Hubbell of Brownsburg, IN, Jared (Cathy) Bailey of Peru, IN; brothers Earl and Roy Fawcett of Colorado; grandchildren Alyssa Hubbell, Samantha Hubbell, Aubry Bailey, Brennan Bailey, and Braden Bailey.
