Janet Lee Osborn

Born January 29, 1950 to Edgar L. Osborn and Mary L. (Poggemann) Osborn in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Janet passed peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 8, 2025 at Brownsburg Health Care Center in Brownsburg, IN.  Janet retired from Merchants Property Insurance in Indianapolis and then retired from Brownsburg Community School Corporation.  She loved her cats, painting landscapes and peoples pets on sweatshirts and numerous arts and crafts projects.  Janet was very athletic and competitive in all the sports she played in.  She also loved riding her bike all around town.  She is survived by her brother Joseph (Clare) Osborn; sisters Beverly (Jim) King, Juanita Osborn, Brenda Osborn and Mary (Greg) Snell; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar L. Osborn and Mary L. Osborn and a brother Robert E. Osborn.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Tues. Jan. 14 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
