Janet E. Thompson

71, Pittsboro, passed away May 23, 2018. She was born in Lebanon, IN. A retired Brownsburg School Corp. elementary teacher of 28 years; she was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School, Bible School and was a member of United Methodist Women, Bell Choir and the Chancel Choir. She was preceded in death by brother Neal Allen Cody. Survivors include her husband Robert Thompson; son Theodore (Suzanna) Thompson; grandchildren Isaac, Lucia, Jude and Dahlia Thompson; nephew Neal Cody Jr. and niece Lisa DuCotè. Visitation will be from 10am to 12noon Sat. May 26 at Calvary United Methodist Church, with funeral services there at 12noon. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church Building Fund.
