Jayne Ann
Hill
March 22, 1952 – October 14, 2025
Jayne Ann Hill, 73, of Brownsburg, Indiana, entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love of her devoted family.
A member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Jayne Ann's faith was both her compass and her comfort. She was a loving wife to her husband of 53 years, Greg Hill, and together they built a life grounded in devotion, friendship, and enduring love. Their story began on November 5, 1965, when two eighth graders whispered the words "I love you" during a movie at the old Browny Theater. What began as puppy love grew into a partnership marked by grace, humor, and unwavering loyalty-a love that evolved from conditional to truly unconditional.
In addition to being Greg's queen, Jayne Ann also held the distinction of being the Brownsburg High School prom queen, from which they both graduated in 1970.
Jayne Ann was a proud and nurturing mother to Casey and Beau Hill, and a deeply adored "Mamaw" to Brianna Lucas, Sofia Hill, Huxley Hill, Hadley Hill, and Sadie Jayne. She was also a loving daughter-in-law to Rilus and Mary Hill and a cherished sister-in-law to LeAnne (Don) Horn, and brother-in-laws, James Hill, and Stan (Theresa) Hill. She is also survived by several beloved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her family was her world, and she filled it with warmth, compassion, and laughter.
Born to Harold and Helen Jean Davis on March 22, 1952, Jayne Ann grew up in a community filled with laughter, faith, and deep family bonds. She shared those same qualities throughout her life with her siblings-Mary Lou Osborne, Jennie Trujillo, Nancy Kichler, and James "Rooster" Davis-each of whom she cherished dearly.
Professionally, Jayne Ann served as an executive assistant for White River State Park, where her dedication, kindness, and attention to detail made a lasting impact on all who worked with her.
In her later years, as she faced Alzheimer's dementia with courage and grace, Jayne Ann's world became smaller but more intimate-filled with her beloved "baby dolls," Benji, Teddy, and Kitty, and the steadfast love of her husband, Greg. Though her body grew frail and her voice quieted, her spirit remained radiant. Through her journey, she taught those around her the meaning of Agape-pure, selfless, unconditional love.
Jayne Ann's life was a reflection of faith, family, and the beauty found in the simple moments of being home-with those she loved and who loved her in return. She loved following her boys play sports and being a supportive wife to a high school athletic director (Brownsburg and Greencastle).
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Memorial visitation will be from 11 am to 12 pm Wed. Nov. 5 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg, with memorial services at 12 pm. Burial will follow in the Calvary United Methodist Church Columbarium.
