Jayne Michelle "Shelly" Harvey

Shelly, 58, of Brownsburg, passed away March 23, 2025. Shelly worked as a nurse for over 35 years including caring for patients at Bryan Hospital in Lincoln, providing hospice care in the Indianapolis area, and caring for residents in senior living communities in Hendricks and Marion counties. She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Corey (Vanover), as well as her infant daughter, Maya Jami Jungbluth. Shelly is survived by her loving partner of 16 years, Jason Clark; her father Michael Corey and his wife, Pam; her three children Joshua Tromblee, Sarah (Kevin) Haltom, and Melissa Harvey; brothers Michael Corey II and Rob Newcomb; and granddaughter Parker Jayne Tromblee. Shelly loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying live music, and traveling. She and Jason often enjoyed trips around the state on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, trying new foods and visiting Carnegie library buildings. She enjoyed various crafts over the years and most recently completed several paintings. Shelly's greatest joy in life was being a mother, and spending time with her children and her granddaughter. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, April 11th from 12 noon to 2pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with a memorial service taking place at 2pm. A celebration of life to follow in Nebraska at a later date, to be determined by the family.
