Jeffrey Dean Crose
62, of Brownsburg, passed away on December 17, 2023, while surrounded by his family. Jeffrey
was a graduate of Brownsburg High School and Indiana University. He proudly served his
country as a member of the United States Army while stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. He was a
cornerstone in the community, operating his own agency, with Farmers Insurance, for 18 years.
He was a devoted member of the Brownsburg Community, attending Connection Pointe
Christian Church, being a member of the Brownsburg Chamber and the Brownsburg American
Legion. He took pride in coaching his children in various Brownsburg athletics while they were
growing up. His other passions included golf, history, politics, traveling, the annual family beach
vacation, maintaining his fish tanks, playing Catan, Texas hold'em and trivia. Jeffrey was a very
gentle soul, who never knew a stranger, and was generous in all things, including his opinion. He
had a very competitive spirit, and he was fierce in his love for his community, country, but above
all else, for his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Crose. He is survived by
his wife Kristin Crose; children McKenzie Crose; Alexander Crose; Nicholas (Yolandi) Crose;
Mother Miriam Crose, brother Brad Crose; sister Melanie (David) McCloud; grandchildren Liani
and Stella Crose as well as various other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be
from 11 am to 1 pm on Fri. Dec. 22 at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, with funeral services
there at 1 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
