Jerry Bill Ross

Jerry Bill Ross was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Bob and Arlene Ross on September 6, 1954.  Jerry and Carrie Mertz Ross were united in marriage on May 28, 1988. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2017.  They had two daughters; Cristine (Gabriel) Traber and Emily Ross.  They were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota, Florida.  Jerry started as a deacon and was always willing to help where needed. Jerry was also preceded in death by his father Bob and both sets of grandparents. Jerry passed away on July 23, surrounded by loved ones. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, mother, siblings Karen (Dave) Baldauf and David (Carol) Ross, and niece Cecili Baldauf.  A memorial service will be held at Connection Pointe Christian Church on Sunday August 19th at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Connection Pointe Christian Church or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Jerry.
