Jerry E. Stevens Jr.

Born June 3 rd , 1958, of Portsmouth Virginia, Jerry passed away June 4th, 2020 in his home in Brownsburg, Indiana at 62 years of age. His loving mother Joanne Stevens preceded him in death. Jerry graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1976. He also attended IUPUI for 3 years. Jerry was a true master of sales, marketing, and deeply cared about enriching all of his colleagues and satisfying each and every one of his customers. In over a decade of service to George E. Booth Co., he was awarded sales team of the year twice with his inside sales partners Bill Stewart and Brian Kinnick, and moved to work with one of the firm's leading suppliers, Endress+Hauser. While working as the Marketing and Product Management Synergies Lead for Endress+Hauser, an industrial process engineering business, he had an indelible effect on his company's culture and took an active role in leading and teaching those who he saw as the future of "his" industry. Known as "The Wolf" at Endress+Hauser, Jerry developed 6 patents. Jerry was an avid golfer, and was active in planning many different golfing events for Ben Davis High School, George E. Booth Co., and Endress+Hauser. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, and watching many different sports. Jerry loved his wife Gloria and was married to her for over 20 years. He was always very proud and fond of his children and loved them very much. Jerry also loved to ride his mountain bike with his best friend Steve Lessel through Eagle Creek.  He loved his old dogs especially his Big Red and loved to grill out with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Gaddy-Stevens; son, Benjamin E. Stevens; daughter, Hannah J. Stevens; and his father, Jerry E. Stevens Sr. Jerry's celebration of life will be held at the Arbuckle Acres Pavilion in Arbuckle Park in Brownsburg, Indiana July 25 th 2020 any time between 3PM-6PM EST. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Misty Eyes Animal Center at www.mistyeyes.org or any local animal shelter or charities like the Gary Sinise Foundation.
