Joan M. Blacker
84, Brownsburg, passed away April 25, 2011. She grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, graduated from Clarke College, and was a dietitian for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Malachy Church, American Dietetic Association, and the Guardian Angel Guild. Her husband Jack Blacker preceded her in death. Survivors include her children Paul Blacker, Laura Woodward, Ann Blacker, and Nancy Blacker; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10am Fri. April 29 at St. Malachy Church. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. April 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery.
