Joan Marie Vondersaar, 87, Avon, passed away March 8, 2015. Joan was born to the late Marie and Daniel Coyle on June 17, 1927, in Indianapolis. Joan graduated from Marian College in 1949 and was a loving wife and mother. She had been president of the PTA and a member of the Altar Society at St. Malachy and was a doll maker. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Paul Vondersaar; 7 children Anne (Steven) Gaylord, Paul (Jean) Vondersaar II, Carole (Thomas) Seidl, Thomas (Cynthia) Vondersaar, Joseph (Nancy) Vondersaar, Mary (Sean) Barnes, and Kathryn (Christopher) Lee; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wed. March 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Thurs. March 12 at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Speedway.
