Jodina “Jodi” R. Lach

57, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully after facing glioblastoma on the evening of September 16, 2026. She was born in Brownsburg, Indiana, on February 22, 1969, to Ted and Pam Lach.

A graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, Jodi served others through her work at State Farm Insurance and later at DePauw University. She devoted her time and energy to causes close to her heart, including CASA, the Humane Society, and other community organizations.

Jodi’s love for animals and her friends was surpassed only by her deep devotion to her three children. She poured herself into motherhood with determination, tenderness, and an unwavering desire to be the best mom she could be. She was known for her natural green thumb, her love of reading, and her passion for genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Pamela Kay Lach, in 2025. Jodi is survived by her father, Ted Lach; her children, Meghan Baugh, Emily Baugh, and Tyler Baugh; and her siblings, Bob (Jennifer) Lach and Amy (Tony) Dover.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Putnam County Humane Society.
