64, of Brownsburg, IN, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. John was born on August 29, 1949 Indianapolis, IN. Son to the late Dorothea A. and Clovis "William" Dicus. Survivors include ex-wives, Anita Wiley Butler, and Sherry Reinert; daughter, Kelly A. and her husband Brad Belcher of Monrovia, IN, and 3 grandchildren, Seth, Ethan and Emma; daughter, Shealyn Dicus of Brownsburg, IN, and 2 grandchildren, Owen and Saige; siblings Carolyn Sue Ferguson, Mark Alan Dicus, William Dale Dicus, of Indianapolis, and Betty Ann Dicus of South Bend, IN; many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Family was John's life as was camping, golf, fishing and cutting up with friends. His quick wit and humor was infectious. He was loved and very special to all. John served in the US Army, worked at Ford and US Postal Service. Memorial services will be 11am Monday August 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 10:00-11:00 am.
