John H. Kirkbride son of Charles A. and Betty Kirkbride, was born September 28, 1946, Indianapolis, IN. John played football for Arsenal High School, graduated from Purdue University, had a lengthy career at Sealed Air Corporation, where he recently retired. He was an avid motorcyclist, loved to dance, and above all loved his family. John was preceded in death by parents Charles and Betty, and siblings Charles "Dean", Karyl and Steve. He is survived by son Jon (Diana), grandchildren Juan, Mycol, Josh, Cameron; son Jeremy (Teresa), grandchildren Zack (Nicole), Alecia, Mackenzie, Stacia, Justin; son and daughters Nikki (Lily, Kaelyn), Markie, Corey, Lauren and Stephanie; brother Ronald Kirkbride. John passed away peacefully on April 10, 2014 with a strong faith, and was surrounded by family. Visitation will be 10am-12noon Monday April 14 at Matthews Mortuary , 690 East 56th St., Brownsburg, IN 46112, with memorial services at Noon.  Entombment will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W. 21st St., Indianapolis.
