John Carlston Lockaby
77, of Brownsburg, passed away on Jan. 28, 2011. He was born in London, KY on March 22, 1933. He is the son of the late Robert and Cora Campbell Lockaby. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, was a retired iron worker, and served two years in the Army. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Wilma; daughter, Christine (Bruce) McGathey; two grandsons, Tyler and Hunter all of Avon and two brothers Kindred (Kathleen) Lockaby of Indianapolis and Harry (Loretta) Lockaby of Hamilton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Fred, Harold, Estile, Silas, Zenith, Earl, and Eugene and three sisters Frankie Marie Lockaby, Pauline Day, and Phyllis Lawson. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Mon., Jan. 31st at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 2pm-5pm Sun., Jan. 30th. Burial will be at Bethesda Cemetery.
