John M. Pattyn
59, Avon, passed away May 17, 2011. He had worked for General Motors for 34 years, retiring in 2006. He was a graduate of Brebeuf Preparatory School, an avid golfer and IU fan with a fun loving sense of humor. A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife Dena Pattyn; daughters Diana McClusky and Kellie (Jesse) Denson; brothers Drew (Sue) Pattyn and Neal (Dawn) Pattyn; sisters Lynn (Greg) Knapp and Carol (Mike) O'Connor; grandchildren Megan and Brooklyn McClusky and Lucas Denson; sister-in-law Tassia Triantos; 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Remi and Mary Pattyn and sister Diane Fyffe Taylor. Funeral services will be 11am Mon. May 23 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 2-5pm Sun. May 22 and 10 to 11am on Mon. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of MICU at IU Health and ICU at Hendricks Regional Health for their kind and caring services.
