John A. Sabol

78, Indianapolis, passed away on December 4, 2024.  He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg Lion's Club, and the Indiana State Lions Club.  John served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967 with one tour in Vietnam.  He was an aircraft maintenance supervisor for United Airlines for 35 years and after his retirement, he became a school bus driver for St. Malachy Schools.  John was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Margaret Sabol; brothers Frank, Jim and Tom Sabol.  Survivors include his wife Susan Sabol; son John and his wife Cindy Sabol; daughter Amy Sabol; brother Michael Sabol and his wife Julie; grandson Ian Sabol, granddaughter Marla Franklin; great grandchildren Jacob Creel, Karmen Franklin; great great grandchild James Creel.  Visitation will be from 1 pm to 3 pm Sun. Dec. 15th  at Matthews Mortuary, 690 East 56th St., Brownsburg, IN  46112 with funeral Mass at 10 am Mon. Dec. 16th  at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E. CR 750N, Brownsburg, IN  46112.  Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery West.
