John C. Shelton, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012. He was the son of Amos E. Shelton, who preceded him in death, and Martha Jean Worick who survives along with his sister, Sally. John was a businessman, farmer, pilot, sportsman and avid fisherman. He enjoyed the friendship of many people in many places and always wore a warm smile accompanied by a great sense of humor wherever he went. John graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1961 and had also attended Danville schools and Indiana State University. In later years, he was happiest when fishing in Suwannee, Florida with his mother and friends. John was always a gentleman and will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral service; however, there will be a celebration of John's life at a later date in Suwannee, Florida.
