John W. Sims

87, Brownsburg, passed away on December 2, 2022.  He was a member of Brownsburg Church of Christ Church and a US Army veteran.  John was a mailer for the Indianapolis Star for many years.  He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Sims; parents Fred and Frances Sims.  Survivors include his son Brian (Shelia) Sims; grandchildren Tiffany (Joseph) Lindsey and Kyle Sims.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Wed. Dec. 7 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there 1 pm.  Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
