John H. Thomas

78, Pittsboro, passed away August 27, 2020.  He was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company for 30 years, before retiring.  His wife Scharna Thomas preceded him in death.  Survivors include children Robin L. Roberts, John Michael (Penny) Thomas and Mischelle Finchum; brother Chris Thomas; sister Kathleen Thomson; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 6 pm Tues. Sept. 1 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 6 pm.  Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org or National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org
