Joseph Howard Abercrombie, age 60, passed away Tuesday January 12 ^th 2021 at the VA hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born October 8 ^th 1960 in Carroll County, Georgia. He proudly served in the United States Airforce and the United States Army, then went on to work for Keihin as an IT specialist. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.  Joseph enjoyed spending time with his wife Kimberly of 40 years, fishing with his grandchildren, and cooking on the grill for his family. Survivors include his wife Kimberly, son Cody, daughter Brittany and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his daughter Heather. He will be greatly missed for his kind heart and willingness to help others in need. Services will be held at Matthews Mortuary on Jan. 20 at 2pm with public visitation from 12-2pm.  In compliance with current requirements and restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.
