Joseph W. Gibson Sr.
79, Avon, went home to be with his Lord July 9, 2015. He had worked for McFarland Foods, retiring in 1981. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Gibson and son Richard Gibson. Survivors include children Joseph W. Gibson Jr., Larry Gibson, Stephen Gibson, Jeffery Gibson, Mark Gibson, Lisa Norris, and Lori Keith; brother Leroy Gibson; sisters Indavada Gibson, Olla Mae Hancock, and Helen Williams; seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon to 2pm Monday July 13 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
