Joyce J. Waggoner

96, of Avon, passed away peacefully on April 23rd, 2026. Joyce was born in Lebanon, IN to her parents Everett Herring and Elva Ellis on March 30th, 1930. Through her professional career, Joyce held a position at GM Allison before managing the Brownsburg Bible Bookstore for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church, now known as Parkside Bible Church, and graciously hosted a Bible Study in her home for over 30 years.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ben Waggoner; as well as her parents. She is survived by her sons Bryan (Sheri) Waggoner and Mark (Gretchen) Waggoner; grandchildren Jessica (Mike) Mitchell, J.B. (Colbeigh) Waggoner, Caleb (Alexx) Waggoner, Korinna (Kevin) Duke, Cassy (Drew) Conner, Jake (Shelby) Waggoner, Justin Waggoner; 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 4th from 10 am to 12 noon at Parkside Bible Church, 7950 N County Rd 650 E, Brownsburg, IN 46112. Funeral services will follow at the same location at 12 noon. Joyce will then be laid to rest in Brownsburg Cemetery.
