Juanita R. Kelly

Juanita Rebecca "Becky" Kelly of Brownsburg passed away peacefully on May 26, 2019 with her loving husband at her side.  She was a strong Christian woman whose passion was her family and the total pursuit of serving others.  She was a living illustration of Ephesians 4:32-"And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."  She was born on Jan. 12, 1952 in Pekin, Illinois to Fred and Elizabeth Corbett.  Becky is survived by her husband of over47 years Greg Kelly; three children Aimee (Jason) Brown, Nathan (Michele) Kelly, and Erin (Matt) West.  Becky was a graduate of Green Valley High School and was a devoted wife and mother.  In later years, she worked numerous positions for the Brownsburg School Corporation, where she could be found giving encouragement and support to children.  While her husband was in the Army, she was a member of the officer's wives club and participated in charities as well as fund raising events both in Europe and the United States.  While in Indianapolis, she was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) where she impacted untold numbers of women and children.  Becky had a long-time love for baking, cooking, and home decorating.  She was gifted and many times women would ask her for recipes' after a get together or her opinion on color schemes for their home.  She was always the first to organize a funeral dinner for the church during a time of bereavement or show compassion at a time of loss.  She will be missed by family and friends alike.  Please join family members for a celebration of her life on Sun. June 2 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Brownsburg at 2 pm.  Flowers can be sent to the church.
