Julia T. Ploughe

91, Brownsburg, passed away on October 20, 2023.  She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.  Julia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Anyone who knew Julia remembers the times spent sitting around her kitchen table talking, laughing and eating something delicious she had prepared.  She was always the life of the party and never met a stranger.  Julia was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Amelia Curci; brother John Curci; son-in-law Carl Thompson.  Survivors include her daughters Judy Thompson, Charmaine (Doug) Miller; sisters Bernadine Lichliter, Theresa Julia Haas; grandchildren Chad Thompson, Ernie Thompson, Deana Cummings, Sherri Mayne, Jamie Miller; 8 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Wed. Oct. 25 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
