Julius Gilbert "Gib" Farmer
Age 81, Plainfield, passed away Nov. 6, 2014. He was a member and elder of Connection Pointe Christian Church. He had been the business manager for the Greencastle Banner Graphic Newspaper, retiring in 1995 and was a US Army veteran. Survivors include his wife Alma Sue Hatfield Farmer; children Jeffrey G. (Karen) Farmer, J. Matthew (Sharon) Farmer, Michael B. Hatfield, Douglas E. (Lee) Hatfield, and Scott M. Hatfield; sisters Naomi Drake and Ruth Hatten; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30am to 1pm Monday Nov. 10 at Connection Pointe Christian Church with funeral services there at 1pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
