Kaitlin Marie Arndt of Pittsboro, IN passed away unexpectedly on November 7th, 2020 at the age of 33 years.  Kaitlin was born in Walnut Creek, California on October 27, 1987 to parents Kim Arndt (deceased) and Lena Torres.  Kaitlin received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Purdue University and was a registered nurse at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital - Indianapolis who worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and with the ECMO team.  She was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

Kaitlin was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and is survived by her son Hudson Eric Arndt-Salvatore; parents Lena Torres and Phil Fanning; brother and sisters Josh and Carey Fanning, Courtney Eyler and Holly Sebring; grandparents Janice and Phillip (deceased) Fanning; aunts and uncles Kendra and Ben Baughman, Mitch and Kathy Fanning; eight nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is also survived by her family in Michigan: deceased grandparents Jim and Dorla Arndt; Kyle (aunt) and Jerry Ricard; cousins Kerry Ricard and Corinne Canyon.

Kaitlin was also well loved by her family in California.  Her deceased grandparents (L. Felipe & Rafaela Torres) who helped raise her alongside her aunts and uncles Rosadelia & Roy Detwiler, Felipe & Gracie Torres, Francisco Torres, Cristela & Giulio Colombo, Michael & Deb Torres and Elsa & Jimmy Varelas. Throughout her life she spent various summers and holidays in California smiling and laughing with 27 cousins. Ambrose Colombo, Anissa and Alec Detwiler, Xochi, Felipe III, Xoledad, Lucinda, Mari and Maritza Torres, Josh, Elisa, Jacob Varelas, Monique, Nicole, Ana and Sophia Torres shared a close friendship with her.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  The obituary will be reposted when the details are finalized.
