Kathleen M. Givan

73, Brownsburg, passed away on June 29, 2022.  She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.  She was a first grade teacher aide for St. Malachy Schools for many years and also worked as a florist at The Blossom Shoppe.  She was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Mary Wynne; brother Larry Wynne; sister Ann Wynne; grandson Thomas Alcorn.  Survivors include her husband Rex Givan; children Jason Givan, Bridgett (Steve) Alcorn; brother Patrick (Stephanie) Wynne; sister Theresa Ploughe; grandchildren Nate Givan, Sophia Givan, Nyah Alcorn and soon to be granddaughter Grace Kathleen Alcorn.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Tues. July 5 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral mass at 10:30 am on Wed. July 6 at St. Malachy Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St. Malachy West Cemetery, Pittsboro.  Memorial donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to the St. Malachy School Scholarship Fund.
