On Sunday August 19, 2018, Kathy Lynn Schmidt, "our angel", was taken home. With her unassuming, compassionate and impartial personality, she chose to never say the words "good bye". She consumed the hearts of many with her wit and sincere nature. From the beginning, her outgoing spirit prevailed allowing her to wear many crowns for many events as well as excel in both sports and journalism. She could do it all. Under the care of her Mother, she spent the past 25 years battling RSD wishing never to burden anyone, so in her final words.....See ya.... Kathy is survived by her parents, Gail & Robin, Hermie & Janice, brother Mike & partner Anthony, half-sister & husband, Megan & Cory Schott, step sisters & husbands, Kyma & Jim Sherman, Tracy & Mark Harlan and Nikki & Rob Bernier. The Celebration of Life for Kathy will include dinner and will be held on Saturday September 8th from 5:00-7:00pm at Eaton Hall, 61 North Green Street, Brownsburg, IN 46112
